What do you do?
I am an artist, songwriter & producer.
How long have you been making music?
Music has always been in my blood, but I actively started recording
in 2019, so for about two and a half years, and I started actively
producing in January 2022.
Who’s your biggest inspiration?
My biggest inspirations would have to be the hustlers around me that
are grinding and really just pursuing what they love to
do most and Miguel, the r&b singer.
What genre of music do you create?
All kinds to be honest, I don’t like to keep myself
in a box. I’d say i’m experimental.
What was it like working with (collabs?)
There’s this one artist i worked with back in February, by the name
of kid4eyes. He has a really unique and organic style. He sent me a
sentimental open with the lyrics, and at the time i was already in
my feelings, so i just wrote about an experience i had recently
went through, and i just laid out all my feelings on that track.
What are some features you have?
My favorite feature right now is on an unreleased
I got with Lunchbox.
What are some features you want to get?
I feel like Uzi and i would go stupid on a track together, and I also
think it’d be cool to make something with Lancey Foux, I really admire
his music. production wise, I’d really love to work with Thugger
‘cus of his unique, yet super hard and ear-catching sound and
Nardo Wick because of his dark sound.
Who’s one person, dead or alive, that you’d want to work with?
No questions asked, I would have to say,
the legend himself, Michael Jackson.
Are you signed to a label?
Not at the moment.
Do you want a record deal, a distribution deal, or none?
For right now, i just wanna rock out as independent and eventually when the time
is right, i’d definitely be open to a record deal.
Who are your biggest supporters?
Definitely my parents and people that i haven’t even met irl fr. huge shout out to
everyone rockin’ with me fr. and shoutout to the guys 222pmb, my boy Cru$ify
Xilling, Real Trapanese, FINAOthaDon, Rowan Long, Chosen and both Michael’s
for playing a part in this journey fr.
Where did your name come from?
The first part of my name, pm is short for post meridiem. meaning after midday.
I chose pm, not necessarily for the midday part, but the night part. i love the
night life and everything that comes with it. i love the calm atmosphere, the
smell of the crisp, cool night air, and the fact that i can admire the stars,
the moon and picture the galaxy that is beyond full comprehension. knowing
that there is something so beautiful, yet within the human reach just
brings so much hope and peace. the second part of my name sombre in
it’s original french spelling, just means dark. I chose this to
connect the two. i not only like the night, but the darkness of
it. i like dark things aswell, from music, to fashion, to the
lifestyle; not necessarily evil, or demonic. just dark.
