Interview With Alternative Artist ANTHO

How would you describe your musical style?

A good description would be an experimentive score , my art sounds like they belong in movies but with vocals on top formatted all into a song.

What is the first album you owned?

Watch the throne by Jay-Z and Kanye West

How do you prepare before going up on stage?

A quick prayer, and a vision of me from a fans perspective. I have to remember the music is bigger than me you know.

What’s a song that has been stuck in your head these days?

You Are – I Am by Manfred’s Mann’s Earth Band

Who’s your favorite artist?

Honestly I Don’t Have a favorite but I have a list of people I look up to , in no particular order: Hans Zimmer, Jay-Z, Kanye West, James Blake, Bon Iver and Kendrick lamar.

Tell us about the first song you made. Was it a success or a failure?

To my remembrance my first song was at 6 or 7 years old and I don’t think it was to much of a success.

What is the story behind CCLVIII?

CCLVIII is 258 in roman which is an angel number I always see. Every number represents a vibration so the number 2 would represent me finding my life purpose and soul mission. The 5 represents me making positive life choices, and the 8 is the vibrations of manifesting wealth and abundance. When I wrote this song I hoped to explain that nothing is better than being alive but on the contrary, nothing’s better than doing what you love while being alive. Regret is a breath taker, it’ll eat you alive forever if you don’t take action towards that thing that you truly love. This song is telling you to do it now or regret it later. Life is all about choices, all we have to do is choose the right ones you know.

If you could pick one or the other what would you choose, the money or the fame?

Definitely the money. If you could go back in time or in the future, which one would you choose and why?

I would go back in time to see what was really going on in the 80s because, the music was too good back then. I feel like we could never hit a peak like that in music ever again. I’d also talk to all the legends from the 80s to the 90s just to really understand them personally, then get a huge rush of inspiration and bring it back to this day and age.

  1. It’s rare you see and individual with responses like these. Real in tune and down to earth with himself and his music. I am very eager to see the progression of his music, a lot of potential waiting to be released with artist right here.
