Q:What is your name/stage name?

A: Floor 16

Q:Where are you from?

A: I’m from Queenstown, South Africa

Q:What do you do?

A: I’m a freelance music producer

Q:How long have you been making music?

A: I’ve been making music for about 3 years now

Q:Who’s your biggest inspiration?

A: M1, a drill music producer from the UK

Q:What genre of music do you create?

A: I make Hip Hop/Trap, Drill and R&B instrumental tracks 

Q:What was it like working with (collabs?) 

A: I’ve just recently-about 4 months ago decided to go all in music production. So I don’t have any collabs at the moment

Q:What are some features you have?

A: I’ve featured some local artists here in South Africa

Q:What are some features you want to get?

A: I’m open to work with any artist who’s serious about making music and leveling up in the imdustry

Q:Who’s one person, dead or alive, that you’d want to work with?

A: I would like to work with Scarlxrd, a British rapper 

Q:Are you signed to a label?

A: No, I’m not signed

Q:Do you want a record deal, a distribution deal, or none?

A: None

Q:Who are your biggest supporters?

A: Friends, Family and fellow music producers

Q:Where did your name come from?

A: Floor 16 came when I had hit the lowest point of my life at the age of 16. It was then that I decided to take initiative over the direction of my life. It serves as a constant reminder to never let myself feel like that, to never hit rock bottom again. It also sounds awesome, c’mon admit it.

Q:What are you currently working on?

A: I’ve just finished making like 7 beats, literally making another one, right this second.

Q:What is your latest release?

A: I’ve just uploaded a drill beat on my beatstore where artists can go lease any beat they want. 

Q:When is your next release?

A: A few hours from now I’ll be uploading a new trap beat
