INTERVIEW WITH UPCOMING ARTIST HAVOC OSIRIS

What’s your favorite music to listen to?
I favor any kind of hip hop or hip hop-esque stuff, since
it’s part of the base of the music I make. Specifically,
I favor lo-fi beats for just straight up listening, as
well as some of the beats that a lot of people on
YouTube create with a fusion of electronic and hip
hop in mind. Those kids are dope.

What are you currently working on?
I will always have something I am working on, and I am
always aiming to be more consistent with my output,
no matter what.

What is your latest release?
I have a single named Dragonpower that just
hit all platforms.

When is your next release?
I have a wave of projects set for June 4th, so
stay tapped in for all of those.

Are you the type to pull up alone or with a group of people?
I pull up alone but the homies are always a call away.

What is one stage you want to sell-out?
If I could only sell out one, I want
Madison Square Garden

Where is one place you want to travel to perform?
Tokyo

What’s the biggest crowd that you have performed for?
I haven’t actually performed anywhere.

Who’s someone you can see yourself on tour with?
If I ever went on tour, I can actually see myself
on tour with Tech N9ne.

Who produces your music?
I do my own beats, and I handle the production.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I want to still be making beats, albeit at a higher
level, and I still want to be delivering a sound
that nobody’s tried to touch.

What’s your favorite clothing brand?
I’ll wear anything, but I tend to favor Apt. 9.

Where do you shop?
Kohl’s

What’s your favorite type of car?
Lamborghinis. I know they’re more speed and style than anything,
but Lamborghinis have always been a dream car for me, ever since
the Diablo series back in the day.

What’s your favorite place to travel to?
Anywhere in Europe, honestly. The architecture alone blows my mind,
but also, the cultures in England, Germany, etc. are just
easy to appreciate.

Did COVID change your career for better or worse?
My career actually began during lockdown, so I would say it was for
the better, though I feel like I would have still found a way to make
beats even if COVID never happened because I still would have wanted
to make something that I knew I didn’t hear a bunch of in hip hop anyway.
