BigGucciDame is creating a new wave for Hip-Hop in Miami. Home to some of the biggest artists in the world such as DJ Khaled, Pitbull and Flo Rida to name a few. Also home to Christian Hip-Hop Legends, Social Club Misfits. Dame is destined for greatness and has created his own style within the music industry. His fun, relaxed, but punctual delivery is not something you see everyday. He remains fun and loose but keeps the biblical substance in his songs. He has done work with Not Klyde from Canada and gained major attention from that. We asked him when he started making music and he said, “I started making music during the pandemic (2020). My first song was actually about the racial crime that happened to ahmaud arbery and other black men that were being targeted. Funny enough I had no studio equipment and, I made the song off the app called garageband and that led to many hours of just watching youtube videos. The passion started to grow and then I decided to buy studio equipment, and committed myself to making music.”
BigGucciDame has began his music journey and hasn’t looked back. He is gritty, determined and not easily shaken. He hasn’t compromised his brand for mainstream success and yet as an independent artist, has accumulated 22k monthly listeners. He told us that his inspirations are, “Jesus and my Family, the reason Jesus because he changed my life, I was on the wrong track and he saved me; and my family because I saw how hard they worked to provide for me and I want to pay the back in full for all the have done for me.” BigGucciDame has his eyes towards heaven, he doesn’t promote guns, sex or drugs and yet he swings with the best of them in the rap game. BiGucciDame has a very promising career ahead of him and if he keeps up his great work ethic, he will likely be seeing himself in rooms he could have never imagined.
