“Being an independent artist has its pros and cons. On one hand, you have complete control over your work and your career. But on the other hand, you must do everything yourself – from booking shows and promoting your music, to managing finances and handling legal issues. It can be a lot to juggle, and it’s not always easy to make ends meet. That’s why many independent artists eventually decide to sign with a record label or management company. While it means giving up some control, it can also provide much-needed financial and logistical support. In the end, it’s up to each artist to decide what arrangement is best for them. Personally, I would be open to signing a deal – if I had the freedom to continue operating as a business owner and artist with independence and autonomy.”
