Ghostface Killah Reveals Lil Wayne’s Feature Price

Ghostface Killah recently opened up about the steep price of securing a Lil Wayne feature. Speaking on Disrespect Radio, the Wu-Tang icon revealed he reached out to Weezy’s team for a verse on his upcoming album Supreme Clientele 2.

“We tried to reach out to Wayne… they asking for like $150,000,” Ghostface said. “I was like, you know what man, just knock it out yourself. That’s rap shit. People talk too much—it’s the worst.”

Ghostface also reflected on past industry politics, claiming Diddy played a role in shutting Wu-Tang out of New York radio during the late ‘90s. On The Bootleg Kev Podcast, he recalled criticizing Hot 97 after their Summer Jam performance in 1997.

According to him, that moment shifted everything: “They cut our records off… no more Wu on the radio. Puffy was getting on his shit.”

Years later, Ghost says RZA told him Diddy admitted to blocking their music: “He had the power… we was a threat. If ‘Triumph’ had been pushed right, things would’ve been a lot different.”
