B.G. Reveals Lil Wayne Missed Cash Money-No Limit Verzuz Due to Hospital Visit

The highly anticipated Cash Money–No Limit Verzuz lit up ComplexCon 2025 with a star-studded lineup — but one major name was missing: Lil Wayne. According to fellow Cash Money rapper B.G., Wayne’s absence was due to a hospital visit.

During an appearance on The Breakfast Club on Friday (Oct. 31), B.G. shared that he had spoken with Wayne the morning before the event. “Shorty wasn’t feeling good,” he revealed. “He had a concert at Drai’s that night too, but he canceled that as well.”

B.G. went on to say that Swizz Beatz was particularly disappointed, explaining, “Swizz was hurt because Wayne was the main reason he pulled the trigger on the Verzuz.” He added, “Wayne told me he had to go to the hospital or something like that. He definitely wanted to be there.”

The New Orleans native said he reminded Wayne to take care of his health, noting, “We ain’t spring chickens no more. You’ve been running 35 years strong — make sure you get your rest and keep your body right.”

When asked whether fans can expect to see Wayne on stage during the rumored Cash Money–No Limit tour, B.G. remained uncertain: “I can’t answer that, you know what I mean?”

Despite Wayne’s absence, Cash Money delivered an energetic set at the Las Vegas Convention Center on Saturday (Oct. 25), performing hits like “Go DJ,” “Stuntin’ Like My Daddy,” and “I Miss My Dawgs.”

Wayne’s health has been a concern recently, as he’s canceled multiple shows over the past few months. In August, he backed out of his Toronto show at Budweiser Stage due to an “unforeseen illness,” and a month later, his Oklahoma City concert was also scrapped.
