A$AP Rocky has officially revealed the tracklist for his long-awaited album Don’t Be Dumb, set to arrive this Friday, January 16. The 15-track project is being described as “a true masterpiece by A$AP Rocky and his alter egos,” signaling a bold, genre-spanning statement from the Harlem star.

The album includes previously released tracks like “Helicopter$” and “Punk Rocky,” along with fan-favorite cuts such as “Stole Ya Flow,” “Stop Snitching,” and “Whiskey (I’m Not Resisting),” all of which Rocky has performed live over the past few years.
While initial details about collaborators were kept under wraps, Rocky had teased major names including Tyler, The Creator, Metro Boomin, and Busta Rhymes. Rumors also swirled about a rare appearance from Frank Ocean on “Air Force (Black DeMarco)” after producer Digital Nas hinted at the possibility online.
UPDATE: Rocky has since confirmed the official feature list via Spotify billboards promoting the album. The stacked lineup includes Tyler, The Creator, Westside Gunn, Doechii, Brent Faiyaz, Thundercat, Gorillaz, BossMan Dlow, will.i.am, Danny Elfman, Jon Batiste, Slay Squad, and Jessica Pratt.

One of the most striking creative forces behind Don’t Be Dumb is legendary filmmaker Tim Burton. Burton designed the album’s official cover art, and the project is described as “the nightmare b4 the release”—a clear nod to Burton’s iconic poem The Nightmare Before Christmas.

“I’ve been inspired by him since I was a child,” Rocky told Vanity Fair last year, praising Burton’s use of claymation, live-action, and German Expressionism. Longtime Burton collaborator Danny Elfman also played a major role, scoring several tracks on the album. Rocky revealed they created music while watching classic films and TV shows with the sound muted, including Pee-wee’s Playhouse and The Simpsons.
Hints about Rocky’s “alter egos” appear in the album’s vinyl description, which frames Don’t Be Dumb as a sonic journey through multiple genres—jazz, hip-hop, metal, indie, and R&B—each track representing a different “block, mood, or moment.”
After years of anticipation, Don’t Be Dumb is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious and creatively expansive releases of A$AP Rocky’s career.
