Albany Lou x HitMan Zan Drop “Porsche LiFe”: A Survival Anthem from Y Not Us Records

Albany, New York’s own Albany Lou and HitMan Zan, independent artists under Y Not Us Records, are back with a raw, powerful new track: Porsche LiFe. Don’t be fooled by the title—this isn’t a song about luxury cars. It’s about living life fast: fast money, fast cars, fast women, and most importantly, surviving against the odds.

The song is deeply personal. “Myself and my bro went through a lot… a lot,” Lou explains. The story behind Porsche LiFe takes a harrowing turn when the rapper nearly lost his life during a night out that turned violent. In a split-second moment, a friend trying to protect them accidentally slashed Lou’s neck, leaving him with two holes in his esophagus.

When Lou shared a chilling photo from his hospital bed last October—neck bandaged, tubes in place—he captioned it simply: “What doesn’t kill you… dead game as a live one can be.” His survival astonished doctors. “The thoracic surgeon said in his 30 years he never saw someone survive the injury I had,” Lou recalls.

Despite the trauma, Lou and Zan turned the experience into art. Porsche LiFe isn’t an ordinary song—it’s a survival story of two friends up against impossible odds. “That night changed everything,” Lou reflects. “But that’s still my brother. We’ve both grown from it.”

Now, the duo is looking forward to the next chapter of their journey with a positive mindset and grateful hearts. Porsche LiFe stands as a bold testament to resilience, friendship, and the fast-paced, unpredictable ride of life itself.
