From the quiet corners of Allegany, NY, rises a name that’s been echoing through underground speakers for over three decades — DJ G-Low, aka Greg Long. A man of many hats, G-Low isn’t just an artist — he’s a DJ, producer, sound engineer, composer, promoter, clothing designer, graphic artist, and the brains behind his own RokuTV channels. On top of all that? He owns and operates his own recording studio and leads the charge for independent artists on WDBN Radio. Let that sink in.
With 30+ years in the game, DJ G-Low’s musical journey started with “Back at the Beginning,” a production collaboration with Eriq La’Shay from The DBN FAMILY. His first solo release “Carry On With Me” featuring S.E.C.G. set the tone for what would become a long-running, ever-evolving career rooted in authenticity and lyrical substance.
Inspired by the storytelling of Scarface and the street wisdom of Geto Boys, K-Rino, and the Screwed Up Click, DJ G-Low embodies the spirit of the South with a universal twist. His genre-crossing style keeps fans guessing and engaged, blending hip hop with unexpected influences, always with a message, always with heart.
He’s worked with the likes of Gucci Mane, Triple 6 Thugz, and King Ran-D the Frozbyte God, but G-Low stays grounded. He writes all his material, develops his own music video concepts, and stays true to his mission — creating meaningful music that doesn’t just glorify negativity but tells real stories from real streets.
Right now, he’s heating things up with his upcoming studio EP “Reality Strikes”, featuring Jack, King Ran-D, Pilla, and more. The project’s lead single, “Meef Me Outside” feat. JECK, is already turning heads — gritty, raw, and unmistakably G-Low.
