LilWB347 Upcoming Artist From Decatur, Alabama

Hailing from Decatur, Alabama, this rising artist is carving out a sound that’s uniquely his own. Inspired by innovators like Tyler, the Creator, Frank Ocean, and Childish Gambino, his music is a blend of alternative R&B, rap, and touches of indie and pop. The result is a sound that feels both familiar and refreshingly different.

When it comes to creating, his process is a mix of preparation and spontaneity. “I always have ideas and things written down so I can go back to them. Sometimes I’ll just randomly make a sound I like and create something from scratch,” he explains. That openness to inspiration allows his music to feel both intentional and organic.

A key part of his artistry is his commitment to authenticity. His songs often reflect his own struggles with anxiety and fear, and he hopes listeners find courage and relatability in his work. “I want my music to be abstract enough that everyone can find their own meaning in it,” he says. “But I also want people to feel free to walk in their passion.”

That theme of courage and versatility shines through his latest EP, The Bow and Arrow Tape. For him, the project was more than just a collection of songs—it was a confrontation of fears. “Whether it be fear of love, fear of being taken advantage of, or fear of not making it big, this tape was me pushing back against all of that,” he shares.

Although still early in his career, he’s already begun collaborating, working with fellow artist Red Luna after connecting through Fiverr. He’s also taken steps toward bigger opportunities, recently linking with an A&R and preparing for a meeting with Empire Records—a milestone that could mark a turning point in his journey.

Even with big aspirations, he remains grounded in his process. His inspiration is constant, whether he’s listening to music, playing guitar or piano, or humming ideas he thought of while in class. Social media has been a tool for him too—mainly Instagram, where he shares releases and the occasional video to give fans a deeper look into his art.

For him, authenticity is non-negotiable. “If I’m making something I don’t connect with, I probably won’t finish it. It’s very hard for me to do things that aren’t me,” he says candidly, joking that it’s a lot like his relationship with math.

Looking forward, his dreams are as ambitious as they come. “Honestly, I want to be one of the biggest names in music ever. But I dream big,” he admits. Still, he also values more grounded goals: financial stability, being able to provide for those around him, and making a special purchase for his mom.

At the heart of it all, he hopes his listeners walk away feeling inspired to follow their own dreams. “If my listeners can take away anything good, that would make me happy. But something specific might just be to be unafraid to follow your passion and dream as big as you can. Also—don’t be a hater.”
