Influenced by legends like Nipsey Hussle, Jadakiss, Rick James, Sam Cooke, Missy Elliott, and Alicia Keys, Rosey blends hip-hop, soul, and truth into a sound that’s uniquely his own.
When asked to describe his sound, Rosey puts it simply: “It’s my own.” He doesn’t stress over labels or genres — he lets the music come from the heart. His creative process is just as natural: “I sit and listen and just let what feels right come out.”
His debut single, “Don’t Leave” featuring Kyro, was born from a simple yet powerful feeling — the joy of vibing with someone who makes everything feel lighter. The song captures warmth, connection, and the beauty of living in the moment.
Rosey has already collaborated with artists like Kyro, LilBoochie, TrigaDaGOAT, and Prince of the Bity, bringing a fresh voice to seasoned sounds. Still new to the music industry, he’s figuring out how to connect with fans and build his presence online. “I’m still learning how to engage with people and keep it real,” he says.
Nature is one of his biggest sources of inspiration, and love is the emotion that drives his writing. “It’s okay to say how you feel,” Rosey shares — a message that echoes through his lyrics and melodies. Just putting out music has been a major step forward. “Showing myself I can do it,” he says, has been the biggest win so far.
