You might not know his face, but you’ve definitely heard his sound.
Brian Cleven Booth Sr., professionally known as Thisisbiggz, is a Grammy-voting, Billboard-charting music producer, recording and mixing engineer, and community leader. With roots in Baltimore, Maryland and a career built in Hampton Roads, Virginia—also known as the 757—Biggz has carved out a signature style that blends street soul with studio precision. His sound is emotional yet polished, gritty yet refined. And it’s turning heads in studios and cities far beyond his own.
Raised in Baltimore until the age of 13, Biggz was influenced early by the rhythm of East Coast hip hop, the soul of gospel, and the lessons of the streets. But it was Virginia where he planted real roots and began shaping his career.
“Virginia taught me how to turn my passion into a profession,” Biggz says. “That’s where I found my sound and started my journey.”
From underground studios in Norfolk to major label placements, Biggz refined his style and developed a workflow rooted in intention and connection. His music grew, and so did the impact.
With production credits alongside artists like G Herbo, EarthGang, and Moneybagg Yo, Biggz has kept his name on quality work. Notably, he produced and engineered the collaborative project Norfolk featuring G Herbo and Seat. His resume also includes an internship at Timbaland’s renowned Thomas Crown Studios, where he sharpened his ear in one of the most legendary production environments in the game.
Today, Biggz has racked up over 100 credits across genres including trap, hip hop, Afrobeats, and cinematic soul. But his process is always personal.
“Before anything, we talk,” he says. “I want to know what the artist wants people to feel.”
From there, he offers a full-service experience: beat production (both custom and catalog), vocal tracking, mixing and mastering, distribution support, and help with publishing and royalty registration. Artists walk away not only with a finished record—but with a blueprint for how to release and monetize it.
His accolades back up the hustle. Biggz earned a Billboard plaque for his work with EarthGang, holds a Grammy voting membership, and was featured by XXL as one of the top three producers to watch. With over 100 credits and a growing reputation for quality, he continues to bridge the gap between independent spirit and industry-level execution.
In 2024, Biggz founded the Cleven Harmony Foundation—a nonprofit named after his family legacy and dedicated to making music accessible for youth. The foundation runs music workshops, offers therapy-through-creation programs, provides studio access to underserved communities, and creates mentorship opportunities for young engineers and producers.
“Music changed my life,” he says. “The Cleven Harmony Foundation is about making sure the next generation gets that same shot.”
Biggz wears both Baltimore and the 757 with pride. His sound—a blend of Atlanta trap bounce, sample-based storytelling, and clean, commercial-ready production—is sought after by artists who want timeless music, not just temporary trends.
His private mentorship program offers hands-on training for engineers and artists at $400/month. Each student receives weekly sessions in recording, mixing, and mastering—designed to teach the real-world skills needed to thrive in a modern music environment.
Ultimately, Biggz is about more than music—he’s building a legacy. Whether he’s behind the board, teaching the next wave, or working in the community, he’s setting the standard for what longevity looks like in today’s music industry.
“I just want to create quality, help people grow, and give the message meaning.”
From Baltimore to Virginia to the world, Thisisbiggz is doing exactly that—one record at a time.
