50 Cent Launches Upcoming Street Fighter Film

50 Cent is stepping into one of his biggest roles yet. The rap mogul revealed on Instagram that he’s officially working on a new Street Fighter adaptation, even sharing the franchise’s classic logo with fans.

In the film, set for a 2026 release, 50 will take on the role of Balrog. The star-studded cast also includes Jason Momoa, Andrew Koji, Noah Centineo, David Dastmalchian, and Orville Peck, alongside WWE icons Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. The project is being directed by Kitao Sakurai.

Balrog has been portrayed in past adaptations by Grand L. Bush and the late Michael Clarke Duncan, but 50’s version will bring a fresh energy to the character.

This marks another major acting move for 50, following The Expendables 4 (2023) and his lead role in the thriller Boneyard. Of course, fans still remember his standout work in Get Rich or Die Tryin’Righteous Kill, and Southpaw.

Beyond acting, 50 continues expanding his empire. His channel, 50 Cent Action, recently launched in the UK, giving international audiences access to his projects and Lionsgate’s vast catalog.
