Quando Rondo is keeping his spirits up as he serves time on federal drug charges. The Savannah rapper recently posted new photos to Instagram from prison, showing himself in good form alongside a fellow inmate.
Rondo, who began his 33-month sentence in December 2024 following a guilty plea to drug conspiracy charges, captioned the post: “Rico came I ain’t budged I was bunkys with the plug, I was just the only cuz doing burpees with the bloods!!” The upload has drawn an outpouring of support from fans, with comments including “Free my n*a Quando a real legend in this music sh” and “Free yo game free my game FREE DEM MEMBERS!!”
The 24-year-old was originally indicted in 2023 on multiple charges including conspiracy to violate Georgia’s Controlled Substances Act, criminal street gang activity, and use of a communication facility in a felony involving controlled substances. He entered his guilty plea in August 2024.
At a press conference following his plea, Rondo expressed remorse: “I really wanna give an apology to the city of Savannah, and I wanna give an apology to my family, friends, loved ones. Most of all, to my daughters for taking all my family and all my loved ones through this stressful point.”
Rondo’s name has also surfaced in connection with Lil Durk’s ongoing murder-for-hire case, where prosecutors allege Durk orchestrated a shooting targeting Rondo that resulted in the death of Rondo’s associate Lul Pabb. Durk has pleaded not guilty, with trial set to begin later this year.
