Ashley Ryan is a 24 year old country artist based out of Nashville, Tennessee making a name for herself throughout the country music community. Originally from Corona, California, she first fell in love with her craft when she began writing poetry at a very young age. With her clever word play and heartfelt lyricism, Ashley shortly evolved her poetic talents into songwriting abilities. Inspired by the iconic talents of musical sensations Cody Johnson and Miranda Lambert, Ashley began to treat her musical aspirations as a career path rather than just a hobby. After moving to Nashville, Tennessee in 2018 she taught herself how to play the guitar and though passionately loving all genres of music, says country is what “sets my soul on fire”. Incorporating steel guitar, banjo, and fiddle into her music to encompass an authentic country music sound, Ashley recorded her first ever song professionally, titled “Reload”, and was released in March 2019. Gaining a buzz from her debut single, Ashley performed an impromptu duet with none other than Keith Urban to a sold out show at the Bridgestone arena in Nashville. Since then, Ashley has released two other singles including her latest hit which released April 30th called “Reno”, off her new upcoming EP. “My favorite songs to write are about no good, two-timing men. And getting even!”, Ashley states as she explains what to expect from her new upcoming EP. The release is said to “capture the emotions from heartbreak to honkytonk” throughout, and if what we’ve heard so far from Ashley Ryan is anything like what’s to be heard off her new EP, the sky is the limit for this young country star. Stay updated with Ashley as she continues to strive for greatness and become one of country music’s next iconic sensations.
