Meet Dasha Makhrenski, or as you may know her by her stage name, DÁSH — an LA-based, Russian-born artist who’s blending soul, pop, and all her raw emotion into something unique and powerful. Singing since the age of 11 and writing her own music since she was 16, DÁSH has always been committed to crafting songs that are not just heard, but felt.
DÁSH’s journey began with her first single, “Believe,” a powerful anthem about self-confidence and fighting for your dreams. This theme of empowerment and authenticity runs deep through all her work. With no formal label behind her, this independent artist is fully in control of her creative vision. “I write my own material from start to finish, and I make my own demos,” she says. Her latest release, set for April 30th, is called “Homegirl,” a song that highlights her ability to capture raw emotion in an acoustic setting. She’s also preparing a music video, giving fans an even deeper look into her artistry. “I create my own music video concepts, but I’d love to trust someone else’s vision for the next one,” DÁSH reveals. That trust and openness could pave the way for even more collaborations and creative growth in the future.
Though she’s had the opportunity to perform in front of massive crowds (30,000 to be exact), her dream is to perform on stages even bigger. “In five years, I see myself on a solo tour in arenas or stadiums, with a strong team around me,” DÁSH shares with confidence. She’s someone who’s ready to take on the world, one soulful, heart-thumping track at a time.
So, what’s next for DÁSH? A full album? A collab with Justin Bieber? Whatever it is, we know one thing for sure — she’s just getting started.
