Drake has added another chart milestone to his résumé. The Toronto superstar’s “Janice STFU” has now spent 19 weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Rap Songs chart, allowing the track to surpass his own previous mark set by “Hotline Bling.”
According to Billboard data cited by HotNewHipHop, “Janice STFU” remained at the top of the chart for the week covering September 18 through September 24. During that period, the song generated approximately 9 million official streams and reached 15.7 million in radio airplay audience, in addition to a smaller number of digital sales.
The latest achievement puts “Janice STFU” in some serious chart company. The song is now tied with Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow’s “Industry Baby” for the fourth-longest run at No. 1 on Hot Rap Songs.
Only three songs have spent more consecutive weeks atop the chart: Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s “Luther” with 47 weeks, Kendrick’s “Not Like Us” with 26 weeks, and Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” featuring Billy Ray Cyrus with 20 weeks.
“Janice STFU” Continues Drake’s Strong 2026 Run
The record adds another major milestone to what has already been a highly active year for Drake. Following the release of his ICEMAN project, “Janice STFU” quickly established itself as one of the album’s biggest tracks and eventually reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 as well.
The song has also generated plenty of discussion beyond its chart performance. Fans have analyzed its lyrics for possible references to several figures in hip-hop, contributing to the conversation surrounding the track since ICEMAN arrived.
Now, Drake is preparing to add even more music to the equation. His Habibti (FOMO) deluxe project is scheduled to arrive with four additional tracks that he previously previewed during his FOMO livestream. Drake has also announced plans for a tour, with the run expected to take place sometime in 2027.
With “Janice STFU” still holding the top spot after 19 weeks, Drake has once again turned a successful single into another entry in his long list of Billboard milestones.
