Dreamville To Appear On The Sound Track For Creed 3 Featuring Michael B. Jordan

Music label Dreamville and record label Interscope have teamed up with actor Michael B. Jordan and MGM to produce the soundtrack for Creed III. The album was made in a rap camp where artists worked for five days to create a cohesive offering, similar to Dreamville’s Grammy-nominated album Revenge of the Dreamers III in 2019. The project featured a variety of musicians and artists from different music backgrounds, from Ty Dolla Sign to Baby Rose and Big Sean. Lute and Omen, two of Dreamville’s signees, recalled how they didn’t know why they were gathering with their labelmates at first until other collaborators started popping up. Although the camp was more laid-back than the previous 10-day camp in Atlanta, it retained the same energy from its predecessor. Dreamville co-founder Ibrahim Hamad did not want the songs to be tailored exactly to the movie, instead hoping for the essence of the artists to come out and merge it with the movie. The Creed III soundtrack embodies themes of family and perseverance and is able to stand on its own outside of the framework of the film. Creed III musical supervisor and co-executive producer of the soundtrack Frank Brim collaborated with the artists to ensure the music reflected the tone and energy of the movie.
