supergroup Circle The Earth has now shared their latest single with fans. ‘Stuck In The
Middle’ is a surprisingly moving take on loyalty, uncertainty, and trying to figure out what the
hell you want from your life.
Los Angeles-based rock group Circle The Earth has shared their latest single, ‘Stuck In the
Middle,’ as they continue to assert themselves as up starters in the rock world.
Circle The Earth is a quintet whose members hail from three continents and four countries –
bringing a wealth of culture and musical experience to the band. In addition to embracing a
‘no borders’ approach to their band make-up, Circle The Earth has also embraced many
musical styles to make them who they are. Their music is noted for combining rock with
funk and jazz elements, all with a pop sensibility.
The band emerged on the music scene in 2021, gaining traction on streaming sites while
also playing plenty of infamous, electrifying live shows in their adopted home of LA. Their
fanbase stretches across the world, with their music traveling globally thanks to
word-of-mouth, viral fame, and the beauty of online streaming. But Circle The Earth has
also proven immensely popular in their adopted home of LA, where they regularly play
captivating live shows for their fans.
Earlier this year, the band made the much-anticipated announcement that singer Aviva Scott
would join the band as their frontwoman. Aviva has long been associated with the group, so
this was a natural fit. But the move has led to many benefits and plenty of new fans. Beyond
this, by making her an official member, Circle The Earth appears to have unlocked new
avenues for their songwriting and creativity. This was immediately apparent in their
previous single, ‘Numb.’ Unsurprisingly, their new, fresh sound is also evident in their latest
follow-up single.
‘Stuck In The Middle’ is a fiery rock song with dramatic hints of nu-metal. The song is
characterized by its echo-y, stadium-sized riffs, and its anthemic chorus.
At the heart of this song, Circle The Earth focuses squarely on a genuine dilemma
that all listeners will have faced in their lives: how do you know how to do what’s best
for yourself when you’re slowly losing track of who you are? The chorus, sung potently
by Aviva Scott, rattles in your head with its powerful refrain: “Between me and you and I, I’m
stuck in the middle.”
