Philadelphia-based artist JDR Sound Production is on a mission to redefine the soundscape of modern music with a blend of Dance, EDM, 808s, and Brazilian flair. Drawing influence from industry heavyweights like Major Lazer, David Guetta, Nicki Minaj, Drake, Lil Wayne, and Travis Scott, JDR’s style is one that makes you move—whether it’s on the dance floor or simply vibing at home.
Known for his ability to craft beats that fuse the energy of EDM with the heavy basslines of hip-hop, JDR’s music is designed to be a fresh experience for the ear. “I want people to groove and dance when they listen to my musical sound recordings,” he shares. JDR’s creative process is non-stop. As a full-time music producer, he’s always in motion, creating tracks for mobile and web-based applications, and spending his days working on musical sound recordings. Balancing this passion with a busy personal life, he attributes his motivation to his faith and quality time with family. “I spend quality time with God and my family, in addition to self-care,” he says, emphasizing how this balance keeps him grounded and creative.
Despite a growing social media presence, JDR remains humble and committed to his craft. He promotes his work across platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, while also engaging with fans through streaming services like Apple Music, Spotify, and iHeart Radio. As he continues to expand his reach, JDR has his eyes set on long-term goals, including investing in a professional studio where he can help other artists bring their sounds to life.
