From Los Angeles Streets to the UK Charts: HoodTrophy Bino’s ‘Still Here’ Hits No. 2

The independent West Coast rapper is finding an audience across borders, combining chart success, millions of music video views, and a deeply personal message of resilience.

HoodTrophy Bino’s journey is taking on an increasingly international dimension. The Los Angeles-raised rapper has reached No. 2 on the UK iTunes Hip-Hop/Rap albums chart with his latest album, Still Here, marking a milestone that underscores his expanding reach and growing recognition beyond the United States. On that chart, it sat alongside 50 Cent’s classic debut.

For an artist whose story began in the neighborhoods of Los Angeles and Palmdale, connecting with audiences thousands of miles away is particularly meaningful. Bino, whose real name is Tadashi Sayres, has built his artistic identity around lived experience, delivering music that reflects the challenges, triumphs, and contradictions of the world he grew up in.

Now living in Miami, he continues to carry those West Coast influences into his work. His latest 16-track project combines the unmistakable bounce of California hip-hop with melodic hooks, introspective lyrics, and moments of unrestrained celebration.

The result is a body of work that feels both deeply personal and broadly relatable.

“My emotions make my music,” Bino explains. “Every one of my songs is related to my life and what I have been through.”

That philosophy runs throughout Still Here, where tracks such as “Tired Of The Hurt,” “Leave Me Alone,” and “Let You Know” sit alongside energetic selections including “Where U From,” “Beretta,” and “Bout That.”

Rather than committing to a single mood, Bino allows listeners to experience the full emotional spectrum of his life. There are moments of reflection and vulnerability, but there is also confidence, humor, and the kind of unapologetic energy that has helped establish his reputation.

The project is supported by a diverse group of featured artists, including Philthy Rich, Luh Kel, Glo Gang’s Tadoe, Baby Money, Heembeezy, RJmrLA, Joe Moses, Keykinya, Heaven Marina, Stiff Barbie, and Spank Nittie James. The collaborations add different textures to the album without losing sight of the artist’s own story, and they build on a catalog that already includes records with Soulja Boy, Mozzy, and Boosie Badazz.

And that story is increasingly resonating internationally.

Alongside his No. 2 UK iTunes chart placement, Bino has been experiencing significant growth across digital platforms. His Spotify following has added hundreds of new followers in recent weeks, while his music videos have been generating millions of views.

Those figures point toward an artist whose appeal is no longer confined to a single region or audience. Although firmly rooted in West Coast hip-hop, the experiences explored throughout Still Here, from overcoming trauma and pursuing ambition to celebrating victories and refusing to give up, translate across cultural and geographical boundaries.

His creative reach has already begun to extend into international collaborations. Bino is preparing a remix of “Fallin 4 U” featuring Star2 and Thai superstar Sprite, scheduled for late November, adding another cross-cultural release to his growing catalog.

The rapper has also demonstrated his ability to move between musical styles and themes. Earlier in 2026, he collaborated with Chrisean Rock on “Proud of You,” an uplifting record celebrating perseverance and personal growth. Released on April 24, the song became a soundtrack for social media users recognizing milestones ranging from graduations to athletic achievements and personal transformations.

That song highlighted a different side of Bino’s artistry: one shaped not only by ambition but also by faith, gratitude, and a genuine desire to see others succeed.

The same commitment carries into his work outside music. His annual holiday toy drives in Palmdale and South Central Los Angeles reflect a longstanding interest in supporting underserved communities and helping younger generations overcome the circumstances that shaped his own life.

Meanwhile, his professional calendar continues to expand. Currently on the road with Chief Keef for a 13-date run that wraps November 11, Bino is also preparing new material with Gritty Lex and working toward an early 2027 solo album with Hit-Boy, one of hip-hop’s most respected producers.

For Bino, however, the ambition goes beyond streaming numbers and chart placements. He sees his career as an opportunity to challenge generational cycles, create meaningful change, and demonstrate that difficult beginnings do not have to determine a person’s future.

The No. 2 UK iTunes chart achievement represents a significant step in that mission. With his music finding listeners across international markets, HoodTrophy Bino is establishing himself as an independent artist whose message travels well beyond the communities that first inspired him.

The title Still Here may have started as a declaration of survival. With his audience continuing to expand, it is becoming something even bigger: a statement of arrival.
