Quavo Signals His Return: New Solo Album Locked In, Big News on the Way

It’s been a minute since we last heard a full-length project from Quavo, but 2026 is shaping up to be his year back in the spotlight. The Atlanta star recently dropped a major hint about his next solo album—and it sounds like fans won’t be waiting much longer.

Few acts have influenced modern hip-hop like Migos. Their rhythmic flows, elastic rhyme schemes, and seamless blend of trap and pop reshaped the sound of an entire era. As the group’s melodic centerpiece, Quavo often carried the hooks and crossover appeal, earning recognition as a driving force behind their global rise.

That’s why it’s felt a little surprising that he’s been the quietest of the remaining Migos alumni. Still, the year is young—and Quavo appears ready to make noise. In a recent Instagram Story, he confirmed that his next solo album is officially “done,” teasing that “more announcements [are] coming soon…..”

Adding fuel to the excitement, Huncho also revealed he was either back in Paris or just wrapping up time there. That detail matters. Back in October 2025, he told press in the City of Light that he’d been in the studio with super-producer Pharrell Williams. According to Quavo, the collaboration was extensive—and luxurious.

“We recorded the whole album in Paris,” he said at the time. “Me and Pharrell. Everything we did was recorded at Louis V headquarters.” The mention of Louis Vuitton immediately sparked speculation about the project’s sonic direction and aesthetic.

How much Pharrell appears on the final tracklist remains to be seen, but his creative imprint already feels significant. Beyond that, details are scarce. No tracklist, no release date—yet. Still, Quavo’s confident wording has fans expecting a lead single or official rollout very soon.

The last time he stepped out front was on “New Trip,” a November collaboration with Yeat and BNYX. Album-wise, it’s been longer. His most recent LP, Rocket Power, arrived in 2023 as a heartfelt tribute to his late nephew and bandmate Takeoff.

Even without a new album, Quavo stayed active through 2025 with notable features, including appearances on Metro Boomin’s hit “Take Me Thru Dere” and cuts from Ty Dolla $ign’s TYCOON.

Now, with a finished album and momentum building, Quavo looks poised to reassert himself as a solo force. If the Paris sessions are any indication, the comeback may be both stylish and sonically ambitious—and fans might not have to wait long to hear it.
