Drake & PartyNextDoor’s $ome $exy $ongs 4 U Is Here

Drake and PartyNextDoor have returned with their highly anticipated joint album, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, officially releasing on Friday (Feb. 14). The 21-track collaboration delivers a mix of smooth R&B and melodic rap.

On “Gimme a Hug,” Drake takes a moment to address past tensions:
“Drake elimination, fake intimidation/Take a minute, take a deep breath, have a little bit of patience.”

He later appears to send shots at Joe Budden, rapping:
“Melyssa Ford, you a legend from The 6 hate to see you with a d**k sucker.”

Drake first mentioned the project last August during PartyNextDoor’s tour, teasing fans about a winter drop. More hints followed throughout the year, leading up to the official confirmation in early February.

The album cover, shot in front of Mississauga’s Absolute World towers, was revealed days before the release. The duo also previewed “Crying in Chanel.”

This marks Drake’s first major project since his highly publicized feud with Kendrick Lamar last spring. PartyNextDoor’s last album, P4, dropped in April 2023.
