Yung Billy, also known as Billy Nichols III, is a talented artist hailing from California. Originally from Los Angeles, he now resides in Long Beach and moved to Las Vegas in 2012. At 29 years old, Yung Billy has been making music since the tender age of six and has a long track history that dates back to his MySpace days.
Despite occasional doubts, Yung Billy is now fully committed to his music career. He is a member of the camp Corrupted and Twisted and draws inspiration from artists like 2pac and The Outlaws, as well as Lil Wayne, Nipsey Hussle, and Mac Dre.
Yung Billy’s sound and vibe are heavily influenced by 2pac’s thug life culture. His cousin and God dad, Veon Sneeks, introduced him to the booth and set him on his path to creating music. Yung Billy’s musical influences include Dr. Dre, Mannie Fresh, Swizz Beats, Kanye West, DJ Quick, Daz Dillinger, AceBeats, E.P.I.K beats, and Rza from Wu-Tang.
Yung Billy has already released an original beat called “Don’t Nobody Understand Me” on YouTube, which will be included in his upcoming first-ever EP set to be released in February 2022. Though he is currently not signed to a label, he is working behind the scenes and waiting for the right opportunity to come along. He is also the founder of Spittin’ The Truth Records.
Yung Billy has performed many times, including taking over classes in elementary and high school to rap for his teachers. He is open to collaborations with artists such as T-nutty, Lil Wayne, Omb Peezy, NBA YoungBoy, Lil Boosie, Moneybagg yo, Lil Baby, and Roddy Rich. He would also be honored to open for Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne, Young Buck, or Yukmouth.
