Quarentine has created a rapper, meet Jack Albert, newest rapper out of Minnesota.

1. What’s your name?
Jack Albert2. Where are you from? Grand Rapids, Minnesota3. How old are you?     20 years old4 .When did you start making music I started making music at the beginning of quarantine in March of 2020. Being locked in my house for months was honestly the best thing for me musically wise. I had all the time in the world to start pursuing music, experimenting with flows, melodies, etc.5. How serious are you about your career?Now I am very serious, when I first started I did it as a joke. But once I saw Logic (Bobby Hall) react to my music (in March of 2021) and was into it & my lyrics, I just had something in me spark & ever since then I have been pursuing music nonstop. It is truly my passion.6. Have you ever thought about quitting music?I wouldn’t say quit, there’s times when I have self doubt. That just comes with making music I think. Especially at the point in my career. Putting your feelings, thoughts, and emotions onto a track can for sure be frightening. Growing up I always had struggles communicating my emotions, making music allows me to talk about some of those struggles. It is very therapeutic.  7. Who inspires you the most?A lot of people & things inspire me. Musically, I would have to say Juice WRLD & Drake. Lyrically & with their catchy hooks. Personally, everyone in my life inspires me. Not even everyone, everything. I like to make music for weeks, then I’ll take a week off to experience different shit that I can write about. That way all of my music I make is genuine and real to me.8.What got you into making music?I always thought about making music growing up as a kid, but at that time I thought it didn’t fit my status quo. Now, I get to make music, and hear people say/sing my lyrics is still just crazy to me.9.Who is your favorite producer?Lately I’ve been messing with Paryo. Dude has some mad talent.10. What is one of your best songs/beats?After I release my music, I don’t really go back & listen to it. I have an album coming out in June, The Come Up, and on that is the best music I have ever made. Lyrically, emotionally, melodically. Overall, just super excited to start rolling out that LP11. Are you signed to a record or label?I am independent right now12. Have you ever performed?Due to COVID, I have yet to perform. But I am super anxious and excited to finally get the chance to hopefully perform in the near future.13. Who would you most likely collaborate with?Well, this question is actually crazy. Growing up, one of my favorite artists was Skizzy Mars. Don’t get me wrong, he still is. That question is just crazy because we are actually in the midst of collaborating right now. That’s all I can say about that right now.14. If you could open for any artist who would it be?Any artist that would welcome me onto their stage at their show would be a blessing honestly15. What’s next for you?I’m starting my album rollout in March. I have a single called, 3 A.M. coming out March 4th. In June, my LP, The Come Up, is going to be released with features from Skiz, Lil Noodle, and Joey Nato aka LuckyBoyNato on Youtube. I am beyond excited to share this LP with the world.
