Mary J. Blige is inviting fans into a new era of live storytelling with her upcoming Las Vegas residency, My Life, My Story. The Grammy-winning icon will kick off the residency in spring 2026 at Park MGM, beginning May 1 and running through July 18 with a total of 10 performances. Blige announced the news via social media on Monday, sparking immediate excitement from fans.
“I’ve been so excited to announce this Vegas residency,” Blige said in a press release. “Creating a show like this has been something I’ve always wanted to do. It’s a chance to get my fans together from all over—different cities, states, and countries—to experience something together.” She added that the residency will include surprises for longtime supporters, promising a deeply personal and communal experience.
Blige recently expanded on the concept during an appearance on The Today Show, revealing that fans can expect something beyond a traditional concert. “It’s going to be done more theatrically,” she explained. “It’s still going to have the music, it’s still going to be fun—but it’s a story, so there’s going to be actors and actresses. The music tells the story.” She also hinted that the residency will feature songs she hasn’t yet performed live, with actors helping narrate the journey while keeping the energy high.
Tickets for Mary J. Blige: My Life, My Story – The Las Vegas Residency go on sale Friday, January 16 at 1:00 PM ET via Ticketmaster. Citi / AAdvantage cardmembers will have access to an early presale on Tuesday, followed by artist presales on Wednesday. Additional presales for MGM Rewards members, Live Nation, and Ticketmaster customers will be available Thursday.
