Uncle Murda’s Shocking Confession: The Truth Behind the Gunshot Lie

Uncle Murda, the seasoned G-Unit affiliate, has recently dropped a bombshell in an exclusive interview with The Danza Project. Confessions about authenticity in the Hip Hop industry have been surfacing, and Murda is the latest to come clean about fabricating a significant claim during his come-up.

In a candid discussion, Murda admitted, “All rappers lie. I remember I lied about getting shot in the head. That was early on in my career because I wanted to ride the wave of the 2Pac–50 Cent era, you know? I had just collaborated with JAY-Z and Fab[olous], and I thought, maybe if I act like I got shot, it’ll create this buzz like Murda got shot but is back the next day like nothing happened.”

The 43-year-old artist revealed the elaborate plan, stating that he was in a car that got shot up, and a piece of glass from the window cut his head, causing a bit of blood. The incident made the story appear believable, adding an extra layer to his persona at the time.

Check out the eye-opening interview below to get Murda’s perspective on his early career decisions and how it shaped his journey in the rap game.
