Music

From the streets of Philadelphia to the mic, Shawn, better known as King Of Clouds, has been crafting music that speaks to the heart of every listener. His journey in the music world is fueled by authenticity, raw emotion, and a relentless drive to share his life experiences. Drawing inspiration from hip-hop legends like Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne, and Jay-Z, King Of Clouds has made a name for himself by creating music that tells the stories of struggle, triumph, and everything in between. Shawn’s music isn’t just about the beats or the bars; it’s about real talk. He describes his sound as something deeply relatable—stories of pain, growth, and the hustle. "I call my music real talk. It’s about the struggles anybody might face. Whether it’s grinding, celebrating, or being confident, my music is there for all those moments," he says. One of the core themes of King Of Clouds’ music is inspiration. Through his tracks, he aims to motivate and uplift, creating anthems that resonate on a personal level. Whether you’re trying to push through tough times or just vibing to the rhythm, his songs have a way of capturing the full spectrum of life. His creative process is just as unique as his sound. "I usually get a beat, smoke some good, and just float in it like an inflatable," he shares. "I let the words come to me, and then I craft them like clay until it becomes a masterpiece." It’s clear that this approach allows Shawn to be both free-flowing and intentional in his music. The message of his last album, The Kings Return, available on all streaming platforms, reflects this. It’s a collection inspired by Shawn’s desire to express an overwhelming amount of creativity. “It’s not just about music; it’s about pouring out everything I’ve got and giving the world a piece of me,” he explains. But it’s not all about solo work for King Of Clouds—he's a family man at heart, often collaborating with close friends and fellow artists like his brother Pay Dro and Young Will 215. "I like to keep it in the family," he says with a smile, highlighting the importance of loyalty in his circle. Staying motivated as an artist isn't easy, but Shawn stays grounded by creating music that connects with the soul. "I don’t create for profit," he says. "I speak to the soul and make you feel something with every word." Shawn's journey in music hasn't been without challenges. From his struggles with homelessness to his transformation as a father and husband, King Of Clouds has used his personal experiences to fuel his art. "I’m just here to show what a king is—through my struggles, through my growth," he says. For those looking for a deeper connection, Shawn hopes listeners will take away a sense of understanding and resilience from his music. "I want people to relate to my message, or at least understand how to get through tough times. Or, maybe, realize how blessed they are that they didn’t go through some of the things I did." His aspirations are simple: "I just want to express myself through music until I’m gone." And with each track, it’s clear that King Of Clouds is well on his way to leaving an unforgettable legacy. Born and raised in Nepal, AK Hood is a hip-hop artist with a story to tell, and it’s one filled with raw energy, street life, and personal struggles. His music, often driven by club bangers and the intensity of his experiences, is a reflection of his journey. Influenced by icons like YG and The Game, AK Hood brings an unmistakable grit to his sound that resonates with listeners worldwide. For AK Hood, music isn't just a career—it's an outlet, a way to convey the weight of his experiences. He describes his musical style as a "club banger," delivering high-energy tracks designed to keep the party moving. But beyond the beats, his lyrics run deeper. With themes centered around street life and the struggles that come with it, AK Hood's music is personal and deeply connected to his own journey. "I look myself into the mirror," he shares when asked about how he stays motivated as an artist. That self-reflection is what fuels his creativity and authenticity. AK Hood writes his lyrics after listening to a beat, creating a seamless flow of emotion that allows his fans to connect with him on a deeper level. In fact, his latest single, a love song, reflects his ability to diversify his sound while staying true to his roots. One of the defining moments in AK Hood's career came when he signed to a label. "It was a milestone," he recalls, one that opened doors to collaborations like his feature with Sarkar on the track "Dough." But the personal milestones also fuel his music—his big brother's tragic stabbing is a pain AK Hood expresses through his art, giving his listeners a window into his personal life and the battles he's fought. AK Hood's path hasn’t been without its challenges, but he's carved out a space for himself by staying true to who he is. "Being real" is his mantra, a philosophy that keeps him grounded in an industry that often rewards gimmicks over authenticity. With his eyes set on bigger goals, like collaborating with YG, AK Hood is on a mission to leave his mark on the global hip-hop scene. To stay connected with his growing fanbase, AK Hood uses social media platforms to share snippets and teasers of his upcoming releases. His online presence helps him engage with fans, keeping them excited for what's next. And while balancing his personal life and career can be difficult, he makes time for himself, ensuring his passion for music never burns out. As AK Hood continues to rise, his music will undoubtedly be a soundtrack for those who’ve experienced the highs and lows of life. Through his tracks, listeners will hear the story of struggle, survival, and perseverance. And as he dreams of bigger collaborations and a lasting legacy, one thing is clear—AK Hood’s journey is just beginning.
